Thariq, BC Children’s Hospital patient
Over the past ten years, we’ve raised over $175,000 in support of BC Children’s Hospital, caring for those who are most vulnerable in our communities. These funds have been used to purchase life-saving equipment and fund treatments for children with serious illnesses or injuries across British Columbia.
Through United Way Lower Mainland, we raise funds, support local youth through resources and opportunities, and local seniors through help with daily tasks, events, and activities.
Supporting those who are most vulnerable strengthens our communities. Over the past ten years, we have raised over $115,000 for United Way.
Every year, as part of our commitment to empower and support our communities, we offer scholarships and bursaries to youth pursuing education. Over the past ten years, our Educational Awards and Bursary Program awarded over $215,000 to help students focus on their education, instead of their finances.
Apply for the Credit Unions of BC bursary program for the fall, winter, or spring/summer semester.

Our communities are only as healthy as our people. Caring for your emotional, mental, and physical health is equally as important to us as your financial health. Our community giving program provides funding to over 250 local programs and projects in the Fraser Valley. Your deposits are invested in community centres, sports programs, hospitals and hospice facilities that provide people of all ages with the care and support they need to feel loved and cared for and supported through all of life’s stages.
