Position overview

As a member of the Branch Support team, the Branch Support Administrator provides day to day administrative support to our branch sales teams, with lending support being the primary focus. The role requires involvement in a variety of organizational projects and initiatives, such as the implementation of new lending products, LOS system improvements or enhancements, and, under direction, may update and maintain lending policy and procedure documentation. The Branch Support Administrator professionally demonstrates the Aldergrove Credit Union mission, vision and values in their interactions with both our membership and coworkers. 


Key responsibilities

LendingOnce approved, process loan application and related documentation, register security, disburse and post loan entries, and complete and follow up on other related loan processing activity. Also, performs routine transactions on credit and deposit facilities 
CommunicationPrepare a variety of internal and external correspondence and communication.
Record KeepingMaintain essential daily tracking systems for lending and creditor insurance for follow up and reporting purposes, and diligently maintain lending files in a standard setting.
Problem resolution and supportProvide exemplary support to our branch sales teams to assist them in resolving concerns, answering member questions and providing world class service.

Experience and education

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a financial institution branch environment is preferred. 
  • An individual with experience plus education and/or training equivalent to two years will also be considered. 
  • Education and/or training could include a certificate or courses in consumer lending, office administration, or business administration.
