Aldergrove Credit Union started in 1954 by a group of farmers who were members of the Otter Farmers’ Institute. The Otter Farmers’ Institute Credit Union was formed and originally operated out of the first Otter Co-op building on 248th Street in Langley. Fourteen years later, the credit union moved down the street, and a decade after that changed its name to Aldergrove Credit Union.
In 2019, we celebrated 65 wonderful years in the Fraser Valley.
