Common Interac e-Transfer® Fraud

Fraudsters have learned how to intercept Interac e-Transfers®. Here's a list of 5 easy steps you can take to prevent this type of fraud:

1. Register for auto deposit

2. Select questions and answers that would be difficult to guess

3. Do not put the answer to the security question in the message box

4. Be cautious of suspicious links in your e-mails

5. Notify us if you sense suspicious activity in your transactions
