Interac® e-Transfer Request Money

How does it work?

You can now request money from others through email or a mobile phone using Interac® e-Transfer and the money will be deposited directly into your personal Aldergrove Credit Union account once the request has been fufilled by the recipient.

How to Request Money by Email or Text

  1. Log in to online banking and go to the Transfers tab
  2. Select Request Interac e-Transfer
    1. Request From — Select a recipient from your recipient list
    2. I acknowledge that I have consent from the recipient for this request — Select the checkbox to continue
    3. Amount — Enter the amount of money you want to request
    4. Invoice # — Optional
    5. Invoice Due By — Optional
    6. Message — Optional; you can enter a short message for the recipient (do not enter the answer to the security question)
    7. Deposit To — Select the account you would like the funds deposited to once the request is fufilled by the recipient
    8. Click Request to complete the transaction — an Interac notification will be sent to the recipient immediately

Keep in mind

  • The Cancel/Resend Notification options are available from the time the request is sent until the request has been fufilled
  • If you are unable to cancel the e-Transfer, the e-Transfer in question may have been blocked by Interac as suspected fraud. Please contact your Aldergrove Credit Union branch for assistance and we will investigate further.
