Aldergrove Credit Union Staff Raise Over $11,300 for the United Way

Credit Union Wins Award of Recognition

Aldergrove Credit Union staff collectively raised over $11,300 for the United Way of the Lower Mainland and United Way of the Fraser Valley.

In 2009 the credit union supported the United Way of the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland through an internal staff fundraising campaign. “As in previous years, our staff came through and collectively raised over $11,300 to fund much needed causes in our communities,” says Aldergrove Credit Union CEO Gus Hartl.

The United Way of the Fraser Valley held their annual awards night in late March and the Aldergrove Credit Union Matsqui Community Branch won the First Time Campaign Spirit Award. The credit union was also nominated for the Quantum Leap Spirit Award – an achievement we are most proud of.

Aldergrove Credit Union has a history of supporting our communities, which extends in many ways and touches numerous areas in the communities in which we are located and where our members, staff and their families live.
